thankful

Last Januaury, a friend bravely accepted an offer I gave her to shoot her wedding. I have always loved photography and felt like I could actually do something with it. Well, I survived the wedding, and 6 weddings since then- not to mention more photo sessions of adorable kids and dogs and lovely adults than I could have imagined. Thank you, dear friends, for becoming my friends through taking your photographs. I have loved (almost) every minute of it. Work is work, so let's be real- but seriously, I am tasting a bit of that phrase, "do what you love". I "work" more than I ever have- but the work is born out of passion, not burden.

I still have a long way to go. Art can keep you humble, but it's beauty can always surprise you.
